Wednesday 12th August: Plot 2 Table – Further to the intimation over the last couple of weeks regarding this proposed Community Growing Project, a meeting had been arranged for Wednesday evening 12th August at 6p.m. in Larkhall New – Chalmers Church. The meeting is to discuss the project and to explore what support, advice and connections may be available to help get the project started. The local Community Development Officer will be present along with a representative from Climate Action Lanarkshire. The current vision is to start on a small scale within Chalmers grounds, encouraging local people to learn about growing their own food through a “Seed to Plate” approach. The group would like to support people to take part in the full journey, from planting and nurturing fruit, vegetables, and herbs through to harvesting, preparing, and enjoying the produce. The aim is to encourage healthier eating, develop growing skills, increase community participation and, over time, build wider community partnerships as the project develops.

Friday 14th August - Prayer Meeting: Will be held in the small hall of Larkhall New – Chalmers building from 7.30 – 8.30p.m. A very warm invitation is extended to everyone, including your family, friends and neighbours to go along.
Sunday 16th August- Morning Worship will be at the usual time of 11a.m. and will be held in our St Machan’s building.
